Home - Petroleum Motor Transport Assoc.

The Petroleum Motor Transport Association (PMTA) has been in existence since 1928.

Today, PMTA serves the Petroleum Industry through providing annually updated vehicle operating costs to its members.

Each year PMTA mails out informational questionnaires to many U.S. Companies engaged in oil and gas operations. Annually, on December 1st, vehicle operating rates are published that will be in effect for the upcoming year.

Most Industry Operating Agreements and Accounting Procedures in effect today endorse using rates published by the PMTA to bill vehicle costs for Operator owned vehicles.

Vehicle Operating Rates for 2008 will be available on December 1, 2007. To obtain PMTA Rates or help participate in PMTA's annual survey, please contact Larry Cagle at
(417) 626-8250.
